Dove Melva Moore

Dove Melva Moore was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated on the campus of Winston-Salem State University in the Spring of 1968.  Dove Moore has served on the Graduate level as 1st, 2nd and 3rd Vice President, Financial Secretary, and Undergraduate Advisor. She was the co-chair of Founders Day luncheon twice and chair of the Scholarship Tea event. Currently, Dove Moore has been instrumental in leading the charge in re-establishing the local Stork’s Nest in Mercer County to support underserved young mothers and mothers-to-be with educational and emotional support.

Dove Moore became a member of Epsilon Xi Zeta Chapter in 1971.

Dove Gwendolyn S. Jennings

Dove Gwen Jennings became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. on December 13, 1969, upon her graduation from Trenton State College (currently The College of New Jersey). During her time as a college student, there were no Black sororities or fraternities at Trenton State. Over the span of 51 years, she has held the position of President (four two-year terms), 1st Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Undergraduate Advisor of the Omicron Epsilon Chapter at the College of New Jersey, Archonette Advisor, Chairperson of the Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon and Erma Jean Nicholson Memorial Awards Tea.

Dove Dolores K. Smalls

Inducted: 1954 Chi Alpha Chapter/Rider College, Trenton NJ

Years of Service: 70 Years

Dove Dolores K. Smalls was a charter member of Chi Alpha Chapter, located at Rider College in 1954. She has held a variety of positions and offices including Recording Secretary, 1st Vice President, chairperson of Amenities committee, chairperson of the Annual Scholarship Luncheon, chairperson of the Erma Jean Nicholson Memorial Awards Tea, and Atlantic Region Conference registrar. For many years, Dove Smalls chaired the Luncheon Ticket and Seating Committee and did a phenomenal job. Dove Smalls has missed very few State meetings, Regional conferences, and national Boules during her 67 years as a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She and Triumphant Soror Jean E. Harris were road buddies for many, many years. Also, Dove Smalls and Soror Odessa Ball were among the first Dove inductees at a Boule. She is a Life Member and a Diamond Life Member.
